We finished the office.
Moved the office downstairs, painted the old office, and moved Mason to his new room.
Painted Kyra and Kyleigh's new room and moved them in.
Things have been pretty chaotic around here. Valynn is doing tumbling and is enjoy it. Mason started soccer last week. They run drills for an hour and then scrimmage for 30 minutes. There are only two 3rd graders, the rest are 4th and 5th graders. Last week Mason scored a goal and he really had fun. Tomorrow night Mason, Kyra, and Kyleigh start swimming lessons. Valynn has started band, she is playing the flute. Boy Scouts started last night. Mark's den went from 7 boys last year to 14 boys this year. CCD and Sunday School have started up. I'm teaching Sunday School for a few weeks until the normal teacher gets over her illness. The three oldest one are still enjoying piano.
School is going well for the kids. Valynn's teacher asked me to look at a couple of books he wanted her to read. They were college level Biology books and wanted my approval because of reproduction being discussed in them, we gave them our approval and now our 5th grader is reading a college Biology book. Mason is enjoying school and so far no fights on him doing his homework. Kyra talks nonstop when she gets home about how great school is. Her stories usually include her chasing a boy or a boy chasing her at recess. Kyleigh start preschool after Labor day. She LOVES Ms. Angie and having girls to play with this year. Ms. Angie said Kyleigh is very well behaved. Ms. Angie has enjoyed all of our children and will be sad to see them go, or so I'm told. I am enjoying time to myself. I've been running and shopping. One of these days I'm hoping to relax and do some reading but that'll have to wait until I get my PTO things done.
This past weekend we made a trip to Iowa to see Aunt Bonnie. We help her with some things and brought her pick up home. Grandma and Grandpa Larson bought it and are flying in tonight to get it. The kids are excited to see them and disappointed that they'll be sleeping before they get here. Last weekend Valynn built Charlie a fenced in area where he can run on the grass, complete with a ramp that goes down from his cage. The rabbit is in HEAVEN. We make him stay in his cage if we aren't home and you can see his anticipation when we return and open the cage for him to run down the ramp. He did escape once but just went under his cage and awaited capture. Lucky also likes the new set up.
