The soccer games on Saturday were postponed because of weather. Which turned out to be a good thing. Mark got all of his homework and final test done and all three kids took a nap. Unfortunately they all took naps at different times and it's because they are all sick. Valynn had a follow up appointment today with the allergist/pulmonologist, it didn't go well, she has a double ear infection and bronchitis or pneumonia. She wasn't hitting her peak flow and was quite lower than the doctor would like. She is trying some new treatments and goes back in 3 weeks. Kyra woke up about 10:00 last night with a fever of 104.2 but it was gone by this morning. All three have coughs and runny noses. I was supposed to work tomorrow but called in to cancel. Valynn is home from school today and we'll see about tomorrow. I think it's an early bedtime night.
On Sunday the kids had their last soccer games. After the games they each got a soccer medal, which they are proud of. The also had inflatables for the kids to jump on but only Valynn tried it out. There were too many kids for Kyra to try it out and Mason wasn't feeling very well. The kids both won their games and did a great job playing. They have already asked if they can play next year.
Because of the game postponement we weren't able to go to Bloomington to visit our friends so we're going to try to go this weekend to see them. Otherwise this is a jam packed week with appointments, etc. Hopefully Mark and I don't catch what the kids have.
Alex has had hand, foot & mouth disease.. it's been going around his daycare. I don't know if you guys are done with gymnastics & stuff, but if you've been going there in the past couple of weeks, keep an eye out for fevers and rashes. I hope your crew gets well soon.
