I know it's about time I update the blog. I will start back at August with what we've been up to.
Mark- work is still going well for him. He's still doing product support, in his spare time he put up over 60 sheets of sheetrock and started mudding the basement, he has one room left to mud and then the fun part of sanding begins.
Chantel- Head start went until October 31st and then she returned to working as a substitute teacher.
Valynn- Valynn ran cross country this fall, she place 11th at sectionals and her team once again qualified for state, the team placed 21st at state this year. School is going well and she is gearing up for Scholastic Bowl. She is still playing the flute in band and the melody vibes in jazz band.
Mason- had an OK soccer year for his traveling team, it was a rebuilding year so it was rough at times. He started playing the trumpet this Fall and is enjoying it. Mason is doing good in school and made the school spelling bee even though he is opposed to competing in it.
Kyra- her soccer team placed 2nd in the only tournament they played in this fall. She score two goals in the first game. School is going well for her.
Kyleigh- she spent the Fall going to her siblings sporting events. She is enjoying school.
We have been busy attending school concerts, Valynn had a Fall concert and all the kids had Christmas concerts. We traveled to St. Louis for a soccer tournament in September. The weekend of October 10th we were in Moline, IL for Valynn's cross country sectionals (where Aunt Bonnie helped cheer her on!) meanwhile Mason was in Champaign for a soccer tournament. We made it in time for his second game. The end of September we took Kyra and Kyleigh to Disney World while Valynn and Mason stayed home with Grandma and Grandpa Larson (I will do a second post with all those pictures). In November we traveled to Minnesota for Thanksgiving. The 21st of December we flew to AZ to spend Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Larson. We had a great time. We spent time swimming, teaching the kids to play 31, we went horseback riding, and visiting friends and relatives. Here's to hoping 2015 is as wonderful as 2014.
