On Saturday Valynn had her first basketball game. She scored the first two points in the first game. Mark said she did very well, here's a video of her scoring her basket. It's at the end of the video she's number 3. The rest of us didn't get to go to her game because we had already volunteered to ring bells for the salvation army in Wyoming.
On Sunday we went to the CAT Holiday show, Riders in the Sky, performed a show for us. The kids enjoyed the sing a long. On Monday Valynn and Mason had piano lessons and the scout meetings. Mark was asked to be Mason's den leader, and he agreed. He won't be officially starting the position until the summer but he'll be working with the current leaders and is in charge of a wood working project in January. Last night I had my Women's Christmas party for St. Timothy. It was nice to get away but could have done without the mess from the cookies Mark and the kids made when I got home. Mark took cookies into work today for a potluck. Today Kyleigh had preschool and her class put on a Nativity Play. Can you guess what part Kyleigh played? Seeing as she's the only girl in the class Mary was a shoo in for her.
As you can see Zippers keeps life interesting in the mornings (when he remembers to move). Here are a couple of his hiding spots.
