The results are in....

I took Valynn to the doctor today because she still wasn't feeling good and she has pneumonia. She will be home until she gets a good nights sleep and feels up to going to school.

Kyleigh has an ear infection. This might explain the crankiness and clinginess.

Kyra so far just has a cold but we're to keep an eye on her in case it progresses into pneumonia or an ear infection.

Mason, still healthy and eating like a horse.

Mark has a slow week as work so he met me at the doctors and then went to pick up the prescriptions. He working on his pickup breaks for awhile before supper and is now studying.

Me, still have a sinus infection that seems to have gotten worse today and tired from getting up with kids in the middle of the night.

Knock on wood

Everyone is healthy!!! I'm still dealing with a cough that caused me to pull a rib muscle so it hurts to breathe and stretch but I'll take that over someone with a fever.

We had a great weekend. Friday night was a girls night out party. Saturday we were able to get together with our friends from Bloomington. We had a great visit, it had been way too long since we had seen them. Sunday we went to church, picked up a pizza on the way home, and watch the Vikings win. Today I'm getting ready for the Rudolph's to arrive. They are spending the night on their way to live in Hawaii. I'm hoping to visit them sometime in the next three years.

I'm back to work this week, this afternoon I'm also watching the neighbor boy. Have a good week!

Unfortunately, we've been sick here. Valynn is home from school for the third day with a fever. For the most part that is the only thing she's complaining about. I have also been sick for two days now with a fever and chills. Mark worked from home yesterday so I could take it easy and he's planning to come home early today as well to help me out. I'm hoping everyone else doesn't catch what Valynn and I have.

Weekend recap

On Friday the kids and I went to Iowa to visit Bonnie and Jerald. We had a great time. On Saturday we bummed around the house working on a few projects. Sunday we went to church and watched the Vikings play. Today Valynn still wasn't feeling better so I took her to the doctor. She has pneumonia and an ear infection. The poor thing, she has to miss school tomorrow and we'll see about the rest of the week. I have minor surgery tomorrow on my wrist and then we'll hopefully be on the road to a healthy family.

P.S. If someone could explain to Kyra that the reason we set the clocks back an hour in the fall is so mom and dad can get an extra hour of sleep. This waking up at 5 :30 in the morning isn't working, mom can't get her workout in.
