Not much happening, Kyra's 17 months

We don't have much going on here. We're enjoying our three day weekend. Valynn came down with a cold. She actually took a nap on Saturday. So we let her stay up later on Saturday night and watch a movie with dad (mom headed to bed). Mason upon hearing that Valynn got to watch a movie informed us on Sunday that he was going to take a long nap so he could stay up late and watch a movie with dad. So Sunday night dad and Mason watched a movie (mom once again headed to bed). We were supposed to watch the neighbor kids today, but one of them has a fever so they didn't come over. Kyra had her 12 month shots today, she also turned 17 months today. She has been a busy one this weekend, if she can get into it, she is. Just this morning, she pushed a stool over to the unbaked cinnamon rolls, helped herself to one, then pushed to stool to the sink, played in the water all while I'm helping Mason get dressed. After I took her away from the sink, she pushed her stool over to where I was cutting onions and bacon and starting playing with the knife while I was getting the eggs out of the fridge. She can get up and down the stairs by herself now, which means she slips unnoticed into the basement. We are headed back into town tonight to go out to eat and shopping for a new microwave, our conked out on us last night and my engineer of a husband has found it to be beyond repair.
